Weight loss is a deeply personal journey towards a healthier self. Cookie-cutter plans to sell fast and easy weight loss programs to the masses don’t work for most because no two people are the same and because sustaining any weight loss progress for an extended period requires new behaviors to be solidified into habit. And that takes time. When you work with me, we will work together to build a personalized nutrition and fitness plan based on your goals and designed around your preferences.
Below is a brief but honest peek into the process. I feel it’s essential to be upfront and transparent with you about the basics of my approach because the weight loss formula may be simple, but a complete body transformation journey is not.
As your personal trainer and weight loss coach, my focus is you and your goals. Your nutrition plan is centered around the foods you enjoy, and your workouts are built upon your individual ability, physiological framework, and medical profile.
DISCOVERY
First, we talk. It’s essential we both feel working together is a good fit. To get there, it’s important we get real and talk specifics. We will chat about goals, timelines, challenges, strategies, and more.
CALIBRATION
If we both decide to move forward, the journey begins with calibration. Establishing baselines is the first step to moving toward your goal(s). The baselines drive timelines and milestones.
PREPARATION
Get moving, get shopping, and take out the garbage. The plan is in place, it’s time to jump in with both feet. Hit the grocery, toss out any binge triggers, and dust off your tennies.
EXECUTION
Ready, set, go! Do the things. Monitor progress. Keep doing the things. More monitoring. Lots of doing, learning, and adjusting. Tweaking foods and activities to dial in on your deficit balance.
